12th Annual APLA Charity Golf Tournament Benefiting the Central Texas Food Bank presented by Equinor
The Austin Professional Landmen’s Association is excited to announce the 12th Annual APLA Charity Golf Tournament Benefiting the Central Texas Food Bank (“CTFB”) presented by Equinor. This year’s tournament, which welcomes all professions within the Oil and Gas Industry, will be held Friday, April 12, 2019 at the Jimmy Clay & Roy Kizer Golf Courses in Austin, Texas. Special thank you to Equinor for participating as the title sponsor for the 6th year in a row.
This tournament has an extremely positive impact in our community and profession through the support of our participants and sponsors. This is our 12th year to host the golf tournament, and it has continued to growth allows us to have a greater effect on our community through the CTFB.
CTFB is the largest hunger-relief charity in central Texas. It provides food and grocery products, nutrition education and social services outreach to 300,000 clients each year through its network of 250 partner agencies. CTFB turns every $1 we raise into $5 of nutritious food. The 2018 Tournament raised $55,000 for the CTFB. To date, our tournaments have allowed CTFB to provide 1,123,760 meals to central Texas families in need.
We are now accepting sponsorships and registration for participants for the upcoming Golf Tournament.
Additionally, the APLA has booked two volunteer shifts at the CTFB on:
- Thursday, February 21st 1:30-4:30pm
- Thursday, March 14th 6:00-8:00pm
