13th Annual APLA Charity Golf Tournament Benefiting the Central Texas Food Bank presented by Equinor
The Austin Professional Landmen’s Association is excited to announce the 13th Annual APLA Charity Golf Tournament Benefiting the Central Texas Food Bank (“CTFB”) presented by Equinor. This year’s tournament, which welcomes all professions within the Oil and Gas Industry, will be held Friday, October 2, 2020 at the Jimmy Clay & Roy Kizer Golf Courses in Austin, Texas. Special thank you to Equinor for participating as the title sponsor for the 7th year in a row.
This tournament has an extremely positive impact in our community and profession through the support of our participants and sponsors. This is our 13th year to host the golf tournament, and its continued growth allows us to have a greater effect on our community through the CTFB.
CTFB is the largest hunger-relief charity in central Texas. It provides food and grocery products, nutrition education and social services outreach to 300,000 clients each year through its network of 250 partner agencies. CTFB turns every $1 we raise into $5 of nutritious food. The 2019 Tournament raised $54,000 for the CTFB. To date, our tournament have allowed CTFB to provide $1,339,760 meals to central Texas families in need.
We are now accepting sponsorships and registration for participants for the upcoming Golf Tournament.
Tournament Details: This is a four (4) person team best-ball scramble tournament. Registration fee includes range balls, coffee, bloodymary bar and breakfast tacos before the tournament, cart fee, complimentary gift bag, barbecue lunch, drinks and a free raffle item ticket. Registration is not complete until payment is submitted. Mulligans and raffle tickets available for purchase day of. Please arrive promptly at 7:30 a.m. The designated team captain will be responsible for check-in, payment, and all contact and communications. Individual players will be assigned to a team. Must be present to win raffle items
