We are having our next in-person lunch meeting for the Austin Professional Landmen’s Association on Friday, February 3rd at 11:30AM. Doak Worley will present about “Texas Relinquishment Act Lands – What are they and why do they matter?” at the Enverus campus located on the first floor of Building 6, 2901 Via Fortuna, Austin, TX 78746. We will provide a catered lunch to attendees for $25.00. Please register so we have an accurate headcount for food purposes.
Doak Worley is an attorney with the Hays Law Firm, where he practices energy and natural resource law. He has experience in administrative law and frequently practices before the Texas Railroad Commission. Doak represents clients in permitting, enforcement, and other regulatory matters before the Commission, including matters involving the exploration and production companies in matters relating to all aspects of their upstream and midstream operations. He advises clients on transactional matters, including oil, gas, and renewable energy transactions.
Prior to joining the Hays Law Firm, Doak served as a Landman at ATX Energy Partners and Brigham Resources.
Doak received a BA in Business from Southwestern University and a JD from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law (n/k/a Texas A&M University School of Law). He currently serves as Chairman of the Mentorship Committee of the American Association of Professional Landmen and a Board Member of the Austin Professional Landmen’s Association.
