Description

Our first in-person lunch meeting of the new year will be Friday, September 5 at 11:30AM at the Enverus Campus, the room being located on the first floor of Building 6, 2901 Via Fortuna, Austin, TX 78746. Our speaker is Kyndall Leone of Leone Energy and JDUB Enterprises. Ms. Leone’s presentation is titled, “Clear It Up, Buttercup: A Practical Discussion on Curative.”

Kyndall Leone is a triple-certified land pro who wears many hats – CPL, CDOA and CMM – but her favorite title might just be “resident title nerd.” As the only professional holding all three industry credentials, Kyndall brings a uniquely comprehensive perspective to mineral management and title resolution.

She’s the owner of Leone Energy, an independent mineral management consultancy, and a Partner at JDUB Enterprises, where she offers boutique-style services to private mineral owners. She cut her teeth on a major urban leasing project in the Permian and now spends her time empowering private mineral owners with the tools, insight, and confidence they need to make smart decisions about their assets (and maybe sleep a little better at night). Her clients know her as “the one who explains it all without making you feel dumb.”

Kyndall is an active servant-leader of the land and royalty owner communities, serving on the NARO Texas Board and on multiple AAPL committees, including Accreditation, Certification, and Certification Education. She also serves on the planning committee for the Women in Energy Institute (WIEI), a premier event dedicated to education, mentorship, and advancing women in the energy industry—an effort she’s especially proud to support.

When she’s not wrangling title or translating industry jargon into plain English, Kyndall can be found in southern Alaska, hauling in king salmon and halibut (or at least telling a story that makes it sound like she did). She’s the proud mom of a 23-year-old student anthropologist and a 9-year-old who doubles as her personal trainer and reality check.

Parking Notes:

If the visitor parking area in front of Building 6 is full, please park in the parking lot for Building 5 in the area marked as “Open Parking”, which is designated by the green box in the picture below.
From there, follow the yellow arrows to the Enverus parking garage.
Once inside the garage, use the elevator to go to the first floor of the Enverus building as usual.

It’s that time! If you haven’t yet joined or haven’t renewed your APLA membership for 2025-26 (and that’s probably you…lol…since the new year is here), please take this opportunity to go to our website and make it happen!  austinlandmen.org. Your participation is important to us! Your membership dues allow us to better represent your needs and present your issues and questions to the AAPL Board, helps the APLA contribute to local charitable organizations like Toys for Tots, and provides us the means to judge interest so that we may begin to offer more networking events and opportunities to grow and prosper. Your membership is important!

We look forward to seeing you there!
